Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a fun, structured program that teaches kids confidence, discipline, and real self-defence skills in a safe and supportive environment. Classes focus on technique, control, and good decision-making — not aggression.
Whether your child is brand new or has trained before, we help them build strong fundamentals, make friends, and feel proud of their progress.

Who the program is for
Tiny Tots (Ages 4–6)
A playful, structured introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Classes focus on movement, balance, coordination, and listening skills through age-appropriate games and drills. Kids learn to follow instructions, work with partners, and feel comfortable on the mats.
Kids BJJ (Ages 6–12)
A more structured class that introduces real Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques in a safe, controlled way. Kids learn positional awareness, basic submissions, escapes, and how to train respectfully with teammates of all experience levels.
How classes work
Classes are instructor-led and carefully supervised. Techniques are broken down step by step, then practiced with a partner at an appropriate pace. Safety, control, and respect are always the priority.
Students progress through skills gradually, with clear expectations and positive reinforcement. Our coaches make sure every child feels supported, included, and challenged at the right level.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need any experience to start?
No experience is required. Most kids start with no background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or martial arts at all. Classes are structured so beginners can jump in comfortably and learn at their own pace.
Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu safe for kids?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. Techniques are taught with control, close supervision, and age-appropriate intensity. Kids learn how to move safely, work with partners respectfully, and tap out when needed.
What should my child wear to class?
For their free trial, comfortable athletic clothing is perfect — a t-shirt and shorts or leggings. Once your child continues training, we’ll help you with uniform (gi) options.
How often should my child train?
Most kids start with 1–2 classes per week. As they get more comfortable and confident, many choose to train more often. We’re happy to help you find a schedule that fits your child and your family.
Will my child be sparring or competing right away?
No. Kids are introduced to partner work gradually, with an emphasis on technique and control. Competition is always optional and only encouraged when a child is ready and interested.
Can parents watch classes?
Yes. Parents are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area. Especially for new students, seeing a familiar face nearby can help kids feel more comfortable.
