Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling-based martial art built around leverage, technique, and problem-solving — not strength or size. Our Adult BJJ classes are beginner-friendly, well coached, and full of good training partners who want you to improve.
Whether you’re here for fitness, self-defence, stress relief, or a new challenge, we’ll help you build real skills at a pace that makes sense.
What you’ll learn
Core ground positions and movement fundamentals
Escapes from bad positions and common submissions
Controlling positions: guard, side control, mount, and back
Using leverage and timing instead of strength
Staying calm and making smart decisions under pressure
Who this program is for
Adult BJJ is open to all experience levels — from total beginners to experienced grapplers. You don’t need to “get in shape first.” You’ll build conditioning, confidence, and skill as you train.
This program is a great fit if you’re looking for:
A technical martial art you can develop long-term
A challenging workout that keeps your brain engaged
A supportive team environment (no ego, no pressure)
How classes work
Classes are coach-led with a clear structure: technique breakdown, drilling, and controlled partner training. You’ll be encouraged to learn steadily, ask questions, and work at your own pace.
Safety and respect are always the priority. You’re encouraged to work at your own pace, ask questions, and take breaks when needed. No one is pushed beyond their comfort level.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience to start?
No. Most people start from scratch — we’ll coach you through it.
Am I too old or too out of shape?
No. BJJ is adaptable and technique-focused. Start where you’re at and build from there.
Is BJJ safe?
Yes. Safety is always our number 1 priority. Training is supervised, techniques are taught with control, and you’ll learn to tap early and communicate with partners.
What should I wear?
For your free trial, athletic clothes are perfect (t-shirt + shorts/leggings). If you decide to continue we have all the gear you will need and can help you get sized correctly.
Will I be sparring right away?
Live training is introduced gradually. You’ll never be forced to spar, and you can always choose how intensely you participate.
How often should I train?
Many beginners start with 2–3 classes per week, but even once a week is a great start. We’ll help match a schedule to your goals.
Can I train if I’ve had past injuries?
Often yes, with smart modifications. Let the coach know and we’ll help you train safely. (When in doubt, check with a healthcare professional.)
What if I can only train once or twice a week?
That’s totally fine. Consistency matters more than frequency — we’ll help you make steady progress.
